1. Find an open call that matches a solution you would like to write about.
2. Decide the minimum amount you would accept to write the specified story.
3. Enter a bid for that amount.
4. If your bid is lower that the current offer price, you win the auction and will be contacted for help in writing your story.
5. If your bid is higher than the current offer price, you may still win. Each day while open the offer price for each open call rises to a maximum on the deadline date.
   When the current offer price exceeds your bid price, you win.
6. Place backup bids in case the primary winner is unable to complete the job.
7. You receive a check for your story 15 days after you submit the completed work.
